Contextual Related Posts Plugin
Contextual Related Posts Plugin is a plugin that displays – related posts at your blog.
I started using one of the standard related posts plugins called Yet Another Related Posts Plugin, but noticed it only showed one or none related posts for my new blog here at billbolmeier.com. I probably didn’t have enough articles or maybe I missed a setting. Anyway.
I didn’t like that a whole lot because I thought, “Show something at least, instead of nothing.” I need people at my new blog and I need them to stick around.
Then I stumbled upon Web Tools Collection review of a new related posts plugin called Contextual Related Posts.
So I decided to give that plugin a try and was immediately satisfied because it displayed 5 related posts. Excellent.
One of the things these plugins do, is to keep readers at your site. So at the end of a blog post, you’ll typically see a related posts list that are in some way related. This could possibly keep the reader around to check out those posts. See related posts below.
The title of that blog post is WordPress Plugins – Comments and Commenting Strategies for Bloggers. Perfect – for now.
