Thanks Yvonne. Take a look at W3 Total Cache if you’re looking for a caching tool. I’ve switched from the mentioned WP Super Cache to W3 Total Cache.

Thanks for your article and the helpful information about
reducing or eliminating those annoying spam comments on my blog.

I was becoming quite fed up with all the stupid stuff that was increasing with my blogs popularity.

Very grateful for your suggested list of remedies to implement.
I will try the CAPTCHA first!

It is true that like many of the bloggers I try to get links by commenting on other blogs. I don’t leave any comment if the blog is not interesting for me. With this need of links, I have discovered many great blogs, and I enjoyed reading them and leaving comments. As there are spammers with stupid comments, I also found there are many useless blogs with dofollow links.
