DEI Reduced to an Acronym. Offensive and Despicable.

YES! I support DEI! I hope you make it incredibly clear to everyone in your life that you do, too.

The fact that DEI has even been reduced to an acronym is offensive and despicable.

Every great teacher you ever had, and others in your life, modeled a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion every day. And they likely never had to use those words.

DEI is why we no longer have racial slavery in this country.

DEI is why we no longer force native peoples to live on reservations.

DEI is why we no longer have laws that legally segregate and discriminate against Americans based on their ethnicity, their culture, or their race.

DEI is why we no longer ever tolerate interning Japanese American citizens as we did during World War II.

DEI is why we’ve never tolerated a law like the Chinese Exclusion Act. The only law ever passed in our history that discriminated against a certain ethnic group.

Of course, we stand for DEI.

DEI is the kind of country that we work for every day. And, of course, you and I have never even once used the acronym DEI because we were too busy modeling our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion every day.

Make it clear to everyone in your life, that of course, you support and defend diversity, equity, and inclusion because this is America.
