Not all of the GOP is far right, crazy. Not all of them have embraced fascism. 15% to 20% of the current GOP are old-school Ronald Reagan, George Bush, George W. Bush, and McCain.
85% of the GOP vote will go to Trump, DeSantis, and Ramaswami as the next nominee.
Donald Trump will be the nominee. He dominates the Republican Party today. He’s a cult figure, an autocrat, and he has, hands down, embraced fascism.
Ron DeSantis comes in as number two. If you look at how he’s running, he is another radical right-wannabe dictator in Florida. He, too, has embraced fascism.
Vivek Ramaswami, I don’t know whether you can say he’s embraced fascism, but he’s an ignorant, fast-talking con man. The majority of the country will not elect him.
Like Trump and DeSantis, Ramaswami lacks kindness. They all lack compassion. They all lack empathy.
Ramaswami said Juneteenth was a useless holiday. He consistently declares climate change as a hoax. He’s compared the Russian invasion of Ukraine to America’s southern border.
There is no invasion at our southern border. That is hollow, shallow rhetoric. Politicians like Ramaswami don’t want to engage in dialogue and discourse. Real courage is talking about immigration reform.
People won’t go near any of the three because of their meanness. They have a contempt for democracy.
What Dominates Today: Radical Right Fascism
The question to the real, small, and sane faction of the GOP that’s left today is, why are you staying in this lunatic asylum? It makes no sense. You should leave.
Because if you left, you would be doing some good for the country.
The GOP would lose in a landslide in 2024, and America would have a chance of leaving those lunatics that currently control the GOP in the dust.
By staying in the GOP, you’re enabling those lunatics. If you old-timer GOP members are saddened by what’s happening to the GOP, you should leave. You’d be doing yourself and the country a favor.
