Extremely Wealthy People: Are They More Powerful Than The United States?

Under the category of extremely wealthy people, Elon Musk’s SpaceX provides communication services via its Starlink satellite to Ukraine, an ally of the United States.

A foreign nation has invaded Ukraine. That foreign nation is Russia.

In 2022, Ukraine asked Elon Musk to turn on its satellite tracking for Ukraine to help guide an attack on Russia in an area that did not have satellite.

Elon Musk denied the request that would help the U.S. ally Ukraine in its mission.

Traditionally, defense contractors provide services to the United States or its allies, they don’t tell the United States or its allies what to do. They deliver.

How Did We Get Here?

It goes back 40 years ago, during the time of Reagan, when they decided to run an experiment that’s still taking place.

Over 40 years, Ronald Reagan’s Reagonomics would gradually squeeze money out of the middle class despite increased worker productivity.

That money would make its way to a handful of people and make them as rich as medium-sized nations.

That’s the experiment that’s been running since then, and it’s had predictable results.

After 40 years, the middle class is smaller and more angry and miserable.

And those handful of people like Elon Musk are bad actors and egotists who think they are bigger and more important than the United States and its allies.

It’s been a lousy, destructive experiment. It should have been stopped decades ago.

The only good news is that there’s a sense of the pendulum swinging. Young voters don’t like this experiment.
