Moms for Liberty is an American conservative 501(c)(4) nonprofit organization that claims to advocate for parental rights. They claim to be a grassroots movement founded by concerned moms.
One of their main goals is to take over local school boards. They have chapters in 36 states. They focus on fighting against the teaching of racial injustice, LGBTQ+ issues, and even banning books like Anne Frank.
They will go to local school board meetings, hook up with other dissatisfied parents, and start a chapter in that state. And before you know it, your school is banning books, attacking LGBTQ families, and teaching a whitewashed history.
They have ties to conservative organizations like The Heritage Foundation. They say that they get their funding through tee-shit sales. Wink, wink. But a deeper dive reveals billionaires like the Koch Brothers, Betsy DeVos, and The Council for National Policy. White evangelical christian nationalists trying to bend society to their will.
Moms for Liberty co-founder Bridget Zeigler’s husband Christian Zeigler, is the Florida republican party chair. He helped write the Florida Parents Bill of Rights and Florida’s Don’t Say Gay bills.
Moms for Liberty’s co-founder Tiffany Justice said:
“We’re going to take over the school boards, but that’s not enough. We need conservative search firms help us find new educational leaders. Because parents are going to get in there and they’re going to want to fire everyone.”
This is why you need to pay attention to what’s going on in your local school boards. Moms for Liberty are the ones who want to indoctrinate your children.
