Republican States Playbook And The Court System

Here are just some of the republican-led bills that are fascist and backed by white christian evangelical nationalists:

  • Banning Books
  • Controlling Colleges
  • Allowing Child Labor
  • Attacking Journalists
  • Forcing Christian Belief
  • Forcing Birth on Women
  • Destroying Public Health
  • Punishing/Eliminating LGBTQ+ People
  • Taking Women’s Healthcare Rights Away
  • And plenty more horrible republican-led bills

With these horrendous bills coming out of republican-led (red) states that are taking away our rights, it’s easy to not think much of it if you live in a democratic-led (blue) state.

But, it’s essential that we care about what’s going on in these republican-led states.

Republicans know they don’t have popular arguments or popular policies, so the tactic they are using is, to use their state’s legislatures to pass terrible bills, and then force those bills into a federal space by using the court system, which affects all of us.

We need to pay attention to what’s happening in state legislatures because those bills will affect everyone no matter what state you live in.
