The Power of an MLK Quote

Martin Luther King Jr.:

“I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the great stumbling block is not the White Citizens’ Councilor or the KKK, but the white moderate, who is more devoted to “order” than to justice…”

The white moderate needs to ask themselves what MLK meant by this, people being more committed to “order” than justice, and why he thought that liberals and moderates were the biggest roadblocks to racial justice in this country.

Racism is the most revolutionary issue in this country.

People in America who claim to love Martin Luther King Jr., that love to celebrate racial progress in rhetoric only, should really take time and think about what that means, the biggest problem to racial justice in this country is the white moderate, who is more devoted to “order” than to justice.
