Failing Upwards

Liars are failing upwards. For current examples think of George Santos and Andrew Tate, they are moving up in position while failing along the way.

Our culture rewards lying and we need to create a culture that doesn’t reward lying by rewarding truth.

Truth is being choked out. We see this in major corporations and state governments going after truthful journalists.

Examples include Erik Prince, nephew of billionaire Betsy Devoss who is behind Moms for Liberty trying to destroy public education, Erik is trying to sue Jeremy Scahill of The Intercept into submission. As well as Popular Information being called “fake news” by Florida state commissioner Manny Diaz Jr. These news organizations provide fearless and adversarial journalism, which seems to have touched a nerve.

Erik Prince, the billionaire mercenary who founded the private security firm Blackwater, is taking another run at his defamation suit against The Intercept — for the third time.
