Project 2025 is a 900-page manifesto put out by the Heritage Foundation.
The Heritage Foundation is a far-right organization funded by the Koch family, mainly through oil and gas money.
Project 2025 is a how-to manual for whomever the next Republican president is. In their eyes, it’s to make white again and the most glorious place to live. In the majority of American’s eyes, it’s a manifesto for hell on earth.
It tells them how they should dismantle our government and our freedoms. That’s not an exaggeration. Read it.
It talks about how we should get rid of:
- The EPA
- Gay marriage
- All abortion rights
- Expand oil and gas drilling.
- The Department of Education
- Fire any government employee who is not a Trump loyalist.
- Climate action: we should reverse every bit of climate action that Joe Biden has already taken. Which, by the way, would send millions of jobs back overseas.
And there’s plenty more.
But we don’t need Project 2025 to tell us how dire the situation is.
All we need to do is watch the news.
All we need to do is look at the death threats to Mark Milley, judges, jurists, and election workers.
Trump and his cronies believe they are above the law. Their violent rhetoric. Their political violence.
It’s obvious. The attacks are already on government institutions.
Look at the House GOP’s budget suggestions. They didn’t get it this time but will keep coming for it.
There’s No Need To Dwell On Project 2025
What we need to focus on is:
- Am I on the sidelines, sitting and allowing this to happen?
- If I’m not, what am I doing?
Who am I helping to win an election? Am I working on helping every Democrat I can win? Am I helping Joe Biden win?
We cannot spread our votes amongst other candidates. There’s too much at stake.
We need to work together in an organized, coherent fashion, and we need to win.
Yeah, there’s a massive threat hanging over our heads. It’s existential.
Now, let’s focus on what we can do, and let’s beat them. We can do it.
