Some people think it’s not fair to portray the GOP as totalitarian fascists. However, here’s why today’s Republican party are totalitarian fascists.
That wasn’t true in the past before Trump. In the past, it was at least a far-right sane political party.
The Reagan GOP. The Bush 1 and 2 GOP. The McCain/Romney GOP. People might not have agreed with it much, but it wasn’t crazy.
Once the GOP embraced Trump as a cult leader, something it has done for seven years, it turned to fascism.
Totalitarian Fascism In Red States
It went off a cliff. We can see evidence of that in every red state today.
In Tennessee, Democrats are outright silenced. The police are removing Mom’s holding signs. What the hell is that? It’s fascism.
Across red states, LGBTQ+ people are being demonized. Their lives are in danger. What is that? That is fascism.
In Texas now, counties are making it illegal for people to pass through them on the way to New Mexico to get an abortion. They’re going to pull people over and ask where are you going? What the hell is that? That is fascism.
In red states, books are being banned across the board. Professors and teachers are being gagged about what they can and cannot teach.
History is being rewritten about slavery.
Mention of failings in the U.S. and its history are being sugar-coated to present a perfect view of America. Who does that? Totalitarian fascist states do.

And then there’s this figure hovering above the GOP. Donald Trump. A corrupt, cult-like figure who tried to stage a coup in 2020-2021. Trump is today’s GOP’s father, mother, and god who can do no wrong.
So, where is the GOP today? It’s not your mother’s GOP. Not your grandparents’ GOP. Not my childhood’s GOP. It’s just whacked-out crazy.
And for those who refuse to wake up and smell the coffee, there’s no reason to debate.
It’s time to beat every Republican candidate in the voting booth. Year after year. Crush totalitarian fascism.
