We’re a Culture Drunk On Faith Over Reason

Until we can take religion off the no-talk list, we’re going to continue to have issues.

The role of religion is playing out in politics today. Remember the role of religion and what happened in Germany? The role of religion in anti-Semitism? Who are the biggest anti-Semites? The other major religions.

Think of Christianity as a fascist incubator. The first three commandments are about the strongman leader:

  1. “You shall have no other god’s before me.” A belief structure with a strongman leader like Donald Trump or Ron DeSantis. Only a strongman leader can fix everything, his way. Fascism.
  2. “You shall not make for yourself other idols.” You better believe the strongman leader is the only one, or else. Fascism.
  3. “You shall not misuse the name of the lord your god.” You can’t talk bad about the strongman leader, or else. Fascism.

When Christianity meets other religions, it becomes, “Anybody that doesn’t believe like us is going to burn in hell.”

What we have is a culture drunk on faith over reason. Religious obsession and believing your feelings are more important than facts.

And then we have the hypocrisy of it all. Where they’re claiming they’re the ones dealing in facts. But they’re not.

The role of religion in our culture is front and center. We cannot sustain these archaic, divisive, and fascist religions. The role of religion in the modern world is that of destruction. It’s nothing more than social control.

The belief that my word of god is better than your word of god is at the root of our problems. It’s about fear.

The ones that are most lost in Christianity, are the ones that are the most lost.
