Teaching New Religions In The Classroom

People practicing Hinduism.

If your school board approves requiring every classroom to post the ten commandments and you have no recourse, it’s okay.

Then make it a learning opportunity and do this:

  1. Post the five precepts of Buddhism
  2. Post the Koran’s Commandments
  3. Post the Atheist’s 10 Commandments

It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn about religions around the world.

Post about Islam, Buddhism, Judaism, Hinduism, Sikhism, Zoroastrianism, Shinto, Daoism, the Bahai faith, Jainism, and Confucianism.

Love this for your kids and don’t forget to thank your school board for forcing the display of the ten commandments. It really does open up the study of all kinds of religions in the classroom.

When a school board gives you lemons, make lemonade.
